As a cosmetic chemist and hair analyst, I know first hand how important healthy hair is, as well as how difficult it can be to find products that help you achieve your hair goals. I founded my company to help people understand their hair type and know what products will actually be beneficial for their hair.

WHAT WE DO
Strandprint provides microscopic hair analyses for individuals who are struggling with their hair health, products, or routines. Our analyses examine your hair's porosity, elasticity, and width under a microscope, which are crucial factors in determining suitable products for your hair. Knowing your hair type is essential for finding effective products, and without an analysis, selecting the right products can be challenging and frustrating.
how it works
First, purchase a Hair Profile from our website's Shop section to receive a hair collection kit by mail. The kit contains everything you will need to send your hair sample back. Next, complete the accompanying questionnaire about your lifestyle and hair health, which will help us understand the current state of your hair. After we receive your sample and responses, we will analyze your hair and email you a Hair Profile as a PDF within 3-4 weeks of your sample's postmark date.

Sadie has always had a love for both science and cosmetics. While earning her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, she stumbled upon the opportunity to work as a hair analyst for the now-dissolved hair analysis company. From that company, she learned how to analyze hair and recommend products for specific hair types.
After college, she began working as a cosmetic chemist and learned how to formulate skin and hair care products, giving her even more information about product formulation and what kinds of ingredients are beneficial for different hair types. Her knowledge allowed her to launch Strandprint and offer hair analyses for those struggling with their hair. Through her analyses, she hopes to provide valuable information to customers and educate them about hair care in order to help them achieve their best hair possible.
